Located in Manhattan, this will be the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States and the largest development in New York City since Rockefeller Centre.

When complete in 2025, 125,000 people a day will work in, visit or call this development their home. The site will include more than 15 million square meters of commercial and residential space, more than 100 shops, a collection of restaurants, approximately 4,000 residences, a centre for artistic invention, 6 hectares of public open space, a 750-seat public school and a luxury hotel with more than 200 rooms – all offering unparalleled amenities for residents, employees and guests.

The development will create more than 23,000 construction jobs and will have a substantial impact on the New York City economy. Once fully operational, the development will contribute nearly US$19 billion annually to New York City’s GDP, accounting for 2,5% of the citywide GDP.

The first phase of the development, a Class A office building, opened in May 2016 and has succeeded in attracting world-class fashion, technology, consultancy and beauty brands.

This is quickly followed by another Class A office building, standing 1,3m sqft (121,000sqm) tall, which is currently under construction and due to be handed over to tenants in 2017.

The third phase, expected to be complete in 2018, will stand an impressive 900ft (274m) tall and offer 391 for-sale and rental residences. Each residence will be equipped with state-of-the art conveniences whilst residents will have access to a number of in-building-only amenities, including a fitness centre, 24/7 concierge-attended lobby, on-site parking garage along with valet and pet-friendly services.

Other phases include a 242,000sqm tall commercial building (which will be the second tallest sky-scraper in NYC and taller than the Empire State Building) and another 102,000sqm mixed-use tower including residences, a hotel, fitness club, office space and ground floor retail space.
